Roy Hawbaker

Roy Leon Hawbaker, 97, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.

Services will be held, at a later date, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Roy was born July 29, 1923 in Graham, Texas to Roy Leon Hawbaker and Annie O’Neal Hawbaker.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  He was a “Tincan Sailor”, member of the VFW, DAV, and the National Association of Destroyer Veterans.  Roy was an investigator with Equifax Services for 33 years before retirement.

Roy is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jo Hawbaker, his parents, and one grandchild.

Survivors: Daughters, Lana and Reta; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
