Lee Draper

September 7, 1970 — October 18, 2022

Fort Worth

Lee Emerson Draper was born September 7, 1970 in Longview, Texas, and on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 Lee made his “RockStar” exit with his Heavenly father who he never doubted or waivered from.

His Celebration of life will be held from 1:00-5:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2022, with his Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 p.m., at Lush Resort Possum Kingdom, 3201 Redbird Road, Graford, Texas 76449; (940) 779-3731.

Lee lived life with great joy and intense passion, always brave and bold. He loved his wife, Donna and the boys, the River, bonfires, music, friends, River Rat family, and building pools with Aqua Group for over 20 years.

Lee graduated from Perrin Whitt High School in 1990. He loved his time at the Grand Canyon as a professional train robber. When he returned to Fort Worth, he became the pool builder extraordinaire. Lee always showed up with a cooler full of food and left with a to-go plate. He never left anyone stranded, changing countless tires. He cared about the world and made a difference in it.  Friends were family to him. Lee always said you don't have to like me, but you can't ignore me. He was larger than life and the world could not contain him any longer. His family will miss him while he goes to help the good Lord prepare a great party for us all. Lee believed you should Love Hard, Live Large and the hardest thing about work is showing up. Lee always showed up!

Lee is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Draper Webster; stepfather, John R. Webster; adoring, Aunt Darlene Radford; and Uncle Kenneth W. Radford Sr.

Survivors include his loving wife, Donna Draper; sons, Eric Ed, and Evan Reeves; mom-in-law, Karoline Selman; sister, Carla Meredith and husband, Doug; and their children, Courtnie, Dalton and Christian; brothers, Kenneth W. Radford Jr., and Bryan Webster; uncles, Alton Draper, and David Draper; sister-in-law, Deanna Thrasher and husband, Cliff; mentor and friend, Rick Whittington; numerous nieces, nephews, family members, countless friends, and endless River Rats.
