Kimberly Ann Shevak Roby, 62, passed from this life on January 27, 2023, at 2:51 p.m., after a long illness.

Kimberly was born July 3, 1960, in Holy Oak, Pennsylvania, USA, to Carolyn and Andrew Shevak. Being from a military family, they moved many times before settling down and making Benbrook, Texas, their home. Kim graduated from Western Hills High School in Benbrook. Kim worked at Texas Motors Ford in auto sales for many years and was eventually promoted to the dealer trade group. She loved working with the team there and did so until her retirement in July 2012.

Kim loved a good party, whether planning it or just attending. Her favorite places to eat out were Saltgrass, El Phoenix, and Olive Garden. However, her drink of choice was always a perfect top-shelf margarita, made to order her way, 1800 Gold tequila, Grand Marnier, and a perfectly salted rim.

She loved her grandchildren and always found time to take them shopping to get that special something. She had a special saying for her grandchildren whenever she saw them. It was ”I love you to the moon and back” or “I love you more than chocolate cake, and I love my chocolate cake.” Kim always wanted to gather the family together, so she would decorate the house for Christmas each year and host “ThanksMas” at her and Tom’s home in Benbrook. It was that once a year when everyone could be together.  Family meant everything to her, and she loved them all unconditionally.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Shevak Jr., and Carolyn Dell Shevak.

Survivors: Kim is survived by her husband, Tom G. Roby; three children, Kimberly Ann Roby-Leger, Thomas Dale Roby, and Thomas Kelley Perkins; eight grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler, Allison, Johnathan, Kyleigh, Dylan, Katie, and Elrik; brother, Andrew Shevak II; two very special German shepherds, Sweetie Sweetness and Chance Cornbread Roby; and a very large tribe of family and friends.
