Harry Dehnisch Jr., 80, passed away at his home on July 15, 2022, with his devoted  family by his side.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23rd at Trinity Hills Baptist Church, 6970 FM 2871, Benbrook, Texas 76126.  He will be laid to rest later at the Dehnisch family plot in Sinton, Texas.

Harry was born to Harold H. Dehnisch Sr. and Vera Pitts Salvato in Fort Worth, Texas.  In 1960 he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps.  After his service in the USMC, he married Linda Connell Dehnisch and had four children that he was extremely proud of.  He spent most of the remainder of his working career on the assembly line at Bell Helicopter and later at Lockheed Martin.  In 2001 he married is current wife, Katherine Dehnisch, and they lived in Whiskey Flats, Texas, southwest of Fort Worth, where he spent most of his retirement as an avid gardener.

One of his greatest joys was spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.  When he could, he loved to attend their sporting events and activities.  On the 4th of July, he loved hosting his kids and grandchildren at his backyard pool for fun, food, and fireworks.

A special thank you to Beyond Faith Hospice who cared for Harry and his family so lovingly in his final months.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold H. Dehnisch Sr.  and Vera Pitts Salvato; his first wife, Linda Connell Dehnisch; grandson, Riley Cole Dehnisch; brother, Jerry Salvato; and brother-in-law, Dick Inman.

Harry is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Katherine; children, Matthew (Vanessa), Michael (Kellie), Mark (Christi) and Meredith (John) Bass; grandchildren, McKenzie, Melanie, Macie, Carley, Jack, Clayton, Brady, Hope, Jacalyn, and Jocelyn; stepchildren, Lesli Nash, Chad Foucher, Weston Foucher and families; siblings, Donald (Bobbie) Brown, Cindy Inman, Steve (Jan) Salvato, and Angie Salvato Lohman; “bonus child” Kimmy; and numerous nephews, and nieces.
