Dale Mahan

Dale Polson Mahan, 76, of Benbrook, Texas, went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 20, 2023, Ridglea Baptist Church, 6037 Calmont Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76116.

Dale was born October 9, 1946 in Weatherford, Texas. He graduated from Eastern Hills High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Dale married his high school sweetheart, Darla J. Hess, on August 20, 1965 and they were married 57 years. He worked as an accountant for the majority of his life, even up until the April 18, 2023 tax filing deadline this year. He enjoyed playing golf!

Dale was preceded in death by his father, Donald Mahan; mother, Bobbie Cole Mahan; and brother, Don Mahan.

Survivors: Loving wife, Darla; daughter, Michelle and son-in-law, Rocky; son, Mark and daughter-in-law, Charlene; four grandchildren, Jacob, Rachel, Victoria, and Dylan; and sister, Jackie Thompson.
