Bennie Cooper

Bennie Lee Cooper, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 1, 2022.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Memorial Service:  2:00 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2022, at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126.  She will be placed with her husband, Nathaniel, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery later.

Bennie was born December 14, 1938, in Corrigan, Texas and later graduated from Beaumont Charlton Pollard High School.  She soon met and married Nathaniel Cooper.  She was a homemaker until working for AAFES on Carswell AFB and a facility in Waco.  She later formed BWJ Janitorial Services.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie D. Haynes; her mother, Espanolia; her husband, Nathaniel; and her grandsons, Christopher, and Willie D.

Bennie is survived by her sister, Trellis Dean Rollins; sons, Larry and Dewayne; daughter-in-law, Albina; grandchildren, Ridge, Mariah, Jared, J.R., Mark, and Michael; and great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jael, Jahnya, and Shiloh.
