Beauford Webb

Beauford Webb, 95, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 21, 2022.

Beauford was born in Lindsay, Oklahoma to James C. Webb and Lula Hicks Webb. He grew up in Lindsay, and Davis, Oklahoma with his nine siblings. Beauford was a World War II veteran serving in the Army (11th Airborne) in occupied Japan October 1945 -- October 1946. After the war while working at Amour & Co. in Oklahoma City he met Faun E. Owens. They were married April 7, 1951 in Fayetteville, North Carolina while he was stationed at Fort Bragg (Air Force) during the Korean War.

They made their home in Oklahoma City for several years welcoming their girls, Shnease, Judith, and Michele. In 1961, after a couple of stops, they settled in Fort Worth. Beauford spent over thirty years in office equipment service/repair, retiring from Konica in 1989.

He spent his retirement years traveling, camping, and fishing with family and friends.  He traveled all over the United States and Canada, with many trips to the National Parks.

Beauford was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He had a great sense of humor and was a friend to all.

Beauford was a Master Mason for 65 years, Southside Masonic Lodge No. 1114. He enjoyed his many years involved with the Lone Star Chapter of the 11th Airborne Division Association. He was a longtime member at Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Forest Hill, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty years, Faun E. Webb; and his nine siblings.

Survivors:  Daughters, Shnease Webb, Judith Webb and Michele Burns (Dan); grandchildren, Justin Burnett (Nicole), and Kayla Reneau (Shawn);  great-grandchildren, Kellen Reneau, Emma Ryan Burnett, and Ellis Reneau; and bonus greats, Landon Davis, and Madison Reneau.

A private burial will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
