Azael Cardona

Azael Cardona, 12, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, surrounded by his loving and devoted family.

Azael was born June 13, 2009, in Fort Worth to Andres and Andrea Cardona.  He loved to go to Movement City Church for two things – to praise and worship, and play basketball in the gym, and he absolutely loved all of it.  Azael attended Wedgewood Middle School where he enjoyed doing the online classes.  He also loved being a gamer.  His favorite teams were the Golden State Warriors and of course Stephen Curry is his favorite player. Azael also loved the Dallas Cowboys. His love for God was unquestionable as he loved to praise at every song in Sunday School class.

Azael was survived by his beloved parents, Andy and Andrea Cardona; his brother, Andrew Cardona; his uncle, Joe Rodriguez; grandparents, Mirna (Jose) Rodriguez, Rafael Villarreal, Lucy and Andres Cardona, Sr.; and extended family, church, and school friends.

Funeral service:  11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Movement City Church, 5301 Alta Mesa Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas 76123.  Visitation: 9-11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at the church, prior to the funeral service.
