Elizabeth Anne Hooten age 82 of Benbrook, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 4, 2023. She was born in Bermuda on December 9, 1940, to Frank and Gladys (Jones) Exell. Anne was in Bermuda Girl Guides as child, graduated from Mount Saint Agnes High School, and was involved with Eastern Star Bermuda chapter. She met her husband Jim while he was stationed in Bermuda. After getting married they traveled the world having their first child Teresa in Germany, then son Jeffrey in Texas, and Eric in Bermuda. The family settled in Fort Worth, TX in 1972.

Anne loved spending time with family, going out to eat, and really loved to shop she had to touch every piece of merchandise; shoes were her favorite. She and Jim enjoyed Bowling and playing Mahjong. Anne worked for Youngblood Builders and retired from Ellisons Furniture.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Gladys Exell, her granddaughter Ashley, and brother in law Robert.

Anne leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 64 years, Jim Hooten; children, Teresa Wise and husband Rick, Jeffrey Hooten, and Eric Hooten and wife Traci; grandchildren, Hunter Hooten, and Jacquelyn Connell and husband Taylor Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Sophia Kelsey, and Cash Kelsey; brother, David Exell and wife Carol; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
