William Yeabower

FORT WORTH -- William R. Yeabower, 77, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014.

Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Edge Park United Methodist Church, 5616 Crowley Rd., Fort Worth.

Funeral: will be held in Maryland on Friday, May 9.

William was born Jan. 23, 1937, in Washington, D.C. He worked for the Department of Agriculture in Lanham, Md., and Fort Worth for 38 years. William was active in his church, and loved family gatherings, fishing and hunting.

Survivors: Loving wife of 57 years, Mary Yeabower; daughter, Julie Ransom of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister, Penny Yeabower; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many loving family members and friends.
