BENBROOK -- William "Bill" Stewart, 94, passed away Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Benbrook, 1015 McKinley, Benbrook. Interment: 1 p.m. Saturday in Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road.
Bill was born Jan. 6, 1920, in Haskell County. He was a Benbrook resident for 42 years. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Juanita Stewart; two brothers; one sister; and one grandchild.
Survivors: Wife of 14 years, Trudy Stewart; son, Bobby C. Stewart and wife, Ardell, of Burleson; son, Jerry W. Stewart of Bay City; daughter, Janice D. Reece and husband, Bob, of North Richland Hills; brother, A.J. Stewart and wife, Ella, of Arlington; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
