Van Rudolph Cammack, 89, of Fort Worth, passed away February 13, 2019 in Fort Worth.

Funeral Service: 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook 76126, with Dr. Jerry Castleberry officiating. Reception immediately following the service at Riverbend Villas Clubhouse, 3128 Riverbend Blvd. Fort Worth 76116.

Burial: 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in Swisher Cemetery, Lake Dallas, Texas.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, Folds of Honor, or Samaritan's Purse.

Van was born August 9, 1929 in Pineland, Texas to Van Carter Cammack and Erminie McDonald Cammack. He graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Petroleum Engineering and later received an MBA at SMU. Van served in the U.S. Air Force. He married Jean Hudson May 31, 1958 in Midland, Texas. They have lived mainly in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for over 50 years. Van worked as an engineer with Atlantic Richfield (ARCO) for over 30 years and then had a second career with the EPA. Van was a devoted member of the Southern Baptist Church in each community in which he lived.

Survivors: Loving wife of 60 years, Jean Cammack of Fort Worth; daughter, Cynthia Cammack of Austin; son, Van Cammack Jr. of Weatherford; daughter, Jenny Adams of Wylie; sister, Betty Mattison of Beaumont; sister, Reba Tsokos of Houston; brother, George Stubbs of Lumberton; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
