Tony Carmona

Tony Carmona, 68, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 in Arlington.
Celebration of Life: 12:30 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Bedford, 2045 Bedford Road, Bedford, Texas 76021.
Tony was born Jan. 28, 1950 to Abiel and Carmen Carmona. From a very young age Tony found the Lord and loved preaching and teaching Christianity, always serving in any way he could. He was a "prayer warrior". Tony retired after 30 years with Verizon. In retirement he pastored at Bajo Su Sombra in Bedford. Tony also continued his education receiving a Master's degree in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was a loving husband, father and Godly man. His daughters also remember him as the "Master of bad Dad jokes".
Tony is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Abiel Carmona, Martha Leon, Araceli Garcia, and Raquel Carmona.
Survivors: Beloved wife of 41 years, Melba Carmona; daughter, Rachel Carmona; daughter, Miriam Nally and husband, Brandon; sisters, Yuluy Carmona, Carmen Carmona, Rosalia Santana, and Carina Castro; brother, Nahun Carmona; many other loving relatives and friends; and grand-dogs, Charley, Beau and Bailey.
