Timothy T. Hawkins, 72, passed away on April 12, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on July 24, 1953, in Sweetwater, Texas, to Fred and Crystal Hawkins.
Timothy was raised in Sweetwater, where he built a life rooted in hard work and dedication. After graduating from high school, he began a long and faithful career with the Santa Fe Railroad Company, later known as Burlington Northern Santa Fe, where he worked for forty-one years until his retirement.
He was married to Pamela Benton Hawkins for nineteen years, and together they shared many cherished memories.
Timothy was proud to have earned the title of Master Mason and was an active member of the Shriners International, also known as the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine (AAONMS) and a twenty plus member of Richland Hills Masonic Lodge No 1348.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Hawkins; his son, Britt Hawkins; and his stepsons, Eddie Holland; Bret Holland and his wife Melissa; and Heath Holland and his wife Stephanie. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Anastasia Hawkins Mendoza and Cris Mendoza, Jayli Hawkins, Brady Holland and Jourdan, Evan Holland, and James Holland; as well as his great-grandchildren, Avilio Mendoza, Waylon Holland, and Riley Jo Holland.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
