Thomas Butler

FORT WORTH -- Thomas David Butler passed away at his home in Fort Worth on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, in First United Methodist Church's Leonard Memorial Chapel, 800 W. Fifth St., Fort Worth.
Tom was born Aug. 10, 1951, in Fairbanks, Alaska. His passion was baseball, whether it was playing for TCU and the Detroit Tigers, or umpiring and coaching.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas L. Butler, and his grandparents.
Survivors: Son, Brian Butler; mother, Judy Butler; and sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Skip Swearingen.
