Tom was born September 15, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri to Edward and Virginia Bregenzer. He was the third of five children. He loved to cook for his wife, Cathy, as well as his Mom, and enjoyed gardening and giving his vegetables away to family and friends. Tom enjoyed drinking his Miller Lite beers, his Rottweiler dogs, and trying to please everyone he met. Tom would drop anything he was doing to come and help.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Leuthe; his mother, Virginia Bregenzer; brothers, Mark Bregenzer (Mollie), and Paul Bregenzer (Linda); sisters, Jean Bregenzer (Jack Harlow), and Susie Bregenzer (David Silva); three step-childen; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
