Terri Lynn Bennett's Obituary

Terri was born on May 7th,1967 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida to Joseph and Lillian McDowell. She passed away peacefully on April 2nd, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas surrounded by loved ones.

Terri had a passion for singing and enjoyed going out to the Karaoke clubs frequently. She was also part of a local country music band “The Dokters” and was even featured at the “Johnny High Country Music Review” in Arlington Tx. She was an avid bargain shopper and would find the most interesting items on sale. She was always thinking of others and buying items she thought others would enjoy. She loved doing whatever she could to make someone laugh. She had an unforgettable personality and sense of humor. Spending time with her children and grandchildren is what she loved most. When working, she started out in the medical field and then made her way into phone and home security sales. She was a believer in Jesus Christ and would read her Bible faithfully.

Even though she will be greatly missed by many, her family has complete peace in knowing that she is now with Jesus Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lillian McDowell; brother, Joseph McDowell Jr; and sister, Ann Shine.

She is survived by her daughters, Ashley Gray and Caitlin Gray; grandchildren, Jordan, Melody, and Adelyn; niece, Tara Molina (Jesse); nephew, Tim Scott (Jenn); partner, Greg Bennett; and his children, Tiffany, Tom (Amber) and Greg Jr (Heather).

The has family scheduled a private family viewing for Terri.
