Teddy Cloud

December 17, 1938 — May 30, 2025

Fort Worth, Texas - Teddy Ray Cloud, 86, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, at the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. Ted was a devoted husband to Linda Cloud, and they celebrated 64 years of marriage in November. Their devotion has created a very loving and close family. He will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for his family. His laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew him.

His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Ted was born on December 17, 1938, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His childhood was spent in Northern California with his father, Earl Cloud. He graduated from Weaverville High School in California and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1956. He served his nation proudly for 20 years and he worked for the United States Postal Service for 11 years prior to retiring in 2000.

He was a proud resident of Fort Worth for over 51 years. His passions were his family and serving the community as a volunteer. He loved watching, playing, coaching, and umpiring sports.

Teddy was a very proud Cherokee Indian and was registered with the Cherokee Nation.

He is survived by his loving wife Linda, their sons and wives, Brian (Carol) and Curtis (Jodi), five grandchildren: Kyle (Charis), Mallory (Travis), Kevin (Michaela), Justin and Amber (Gage) and seven great-grandchildren: Abram, Rayder, Hunter, Selah, Samuel, Clara and Shiloh. He was preceded in death by his Father Earl, Mother Lillian, and Sister Virginia Susie.
