Susie Morrison

BENBROOK -- Carol "Susie" Morrison, 73, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook. Interment: Benbrook Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
As a longtime resident of Benbrook, Susie had many loved ones and friends in the area. She devoted many years to the community by being involved on boards and local activities. Susie loved anything outdoors, especially watching grandkids play sports, gardening, fishing and camping. She was a longtime member of Emanuel Lutheran in Acton, where she was actively involved in the choir and other church functions.
Susie was preceded in death by her father, Dell E Boren; mother, Margie Sue Brewer; stepfather, Henry T. Kruse; and a sister, Nancy Hiner.
Survivors: Son, Michael Harris and wife, Katie; daughter, Marci Gray and husband, Darek; grandkids, Alex Harris and wife, Hannah, Matthew Harris, Landon Gray and Tatum Gray, Gregory Sellers; stepmother, Lucile Boren; sisters, Darla Sellers, Peggy Valentine and Regina McConal; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
