Steven Barron

BENBROOK -- Steven A. Barron, 87, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook. Interment: Benbrook Cemetery. Visitation: 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Steven A. Barron was born Feb. 19, 1929, in Sherman, the youngest of three sons to the late Steven Adlai and Ada Harrell Barron. He made his career with General Dynamics and retired after 41 years of dedicated service. Steven had many talents and hobbies and among them were photography, musical instruments, flying planes - model and real, and all things outdoors.
On Dec. 24, 1971, he married the former Marquerita Smith, and together they made their home in Benbrook for more than 40 years.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe Barron and Jack Barron; and sister-in-law, Jennie Glenn Barron.
Survivors: Wife, Marquerita Barron of Benbrook; children, Steven Harrell Barron of Houston, Jennie Marie Martino and husband, James Boyd Martino, of Aubrey, Mary Hughes and husband, Ronnie, of Kilgore and James Barron and wife, Marsha, of Argyle; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
