Ruth Parish

Ruth Cook Parish, 97, departed this life on April 1, 2017 at her home in Fort Worth.

Ruth was born Sept. 10, 1919 in Morgan, Texas and grew up in Deleon, Texas.

Ruth worked for Radio Corporation of America (RCA) in Dallas for many years. After the death of her husband she moved to Huntsville, Ala. to be near her brother and his wife, The Reverend Robert R. Cook and Mary Beirne Darwin Cook and their family. She treasured her time in Huntsville, Ala. After the death of her brother and his wife, she returned to Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J. Cook and Karen Phillips Cook; her husband, William "Poddy" Parish; and all of her brothers and sisters.

Survivors: Many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
