Ruby Moore

Ruby Nell Moore, 86, of Benbrook, passed away peacefully at home on July 7, 2019.

Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Western Hills Church of Christ, 8800 Chapin Road, Fort Worth. Visitation: 9-10:00 a.m., Wednesday, prior to the service. Burial: Private.

Ruby was born September 6, 1932 in Spur, Texas. She attended Spur public schools and lived in Artesia, N.M., and Plainview, Texas before moving to Fort Worth in 1968. Ruby worked in the medical field for more than 25 years. She was a member of Western Hills Church of Christ for over 50 years, and volunteered for their Food Bank Ministry for many years.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, W.W. and Fannie Pickens; three brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors: Loving husband, Eugene Moore; three sons, Bill Moore and wife, Colleen of Granbury, Ben Moore and wife, Marcie of Hurst, and Terry Moore and wife, Shondi of Benbrook; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ann Tow and Jane Cowan.
