Rosemary Mobley

Rosemary Sharon Mobley, 82, , loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on February 11, 2019 in Fort Worth.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 15, 2019 at First United Methodist Church of Benbrook, 1122 Bryant Street, Benbrook, Texas 76126. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth 76134.

Rosemary was born Aug. 2, 1936 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to August Bartel and Frances Lewis Bartel. She moved with her family to Chicago at the age of two where she spent her younger years. She has lived in Benbrook for the past 40 years and excelled as the "Avon Lady". Rosemary was talented in decorating cakes. She loved life and her "work" provided her the opportunity to make many friends over the years. Rosemary was a member of Benbrook UMC, and participant in many YMCA activities. She had boundless energy and loved to play "Chicken Foot" and "Bunco".

Survivors: Rosemary is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Ado; five children, Steve Jimenez and Debbie Burnie of Fort Worth, Texas, Mark Jimenez (Shelly) and David of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Billy Mobley (Amanda) of Spring Branch, Texas; four stepchildren, Barbara McDougal and Mary Jane Mobley of Winnsboro, Louisiana, Tim and Irvin Mobley of Wisner, Louisiana; and many more extended family members and friends, too many to name.
