Rosalie Maria Reiter

Rosalie Maria Reiter was born in Freiburg, Germany on October 23, 1930. She married the love of her life, Herbert Reiter on January 14, 1950, who preceded her in death in 2007, and they were married 57 years.  They came to the United States in 1952. She lived a beautiful life and gained her wings at the age of 93.

They were blessed with three children, two sons and one daughter. They also had many grandchildren, a few great-grandchildren, and a few great-great-grandchildren. To her grandchildren she was known as “Oma”.

Rosalie was a fantastic person and was adored by everyone she met. She was the most patient and giving mom and loved her family deeply. Spending any time with her, one would see that she was remarkable wise, and she loved having conversations with her family and friends.

She took pride in herself, and in her appearance and one would never see her without being dressed to perfection, and in style with the jewelry always to match.

Regarding her cooking and baking, you would never go hungry in her presence. She also took pride in making sure she cooked and baked, from scratch, everyone’s favorite meals and foods which were exceptionally amazing and delicious.

There was never anything (you could elaborate…a dish, a chair, a towel, a sewing needle, ha) out of place because she was extremely organized and tidy.

Her seamstress skills were incredible. If she could envision it, she could sew it. Many of her family members are fortunate to have the treasures of the beautiful things she made.

Graveside services: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Emerald Hills Memorial Park, 500 Sublett Road, Kennedale, Texas.
