Rodolfo "Rudy" Tebia, 62, of Benbrook, passed away on December 20, 2018.
Rudy was born on January 1, 1956 in Manilla, Philippines to Juanita and Rodolfo Tebia, Sr. He moved his family from the Philippines when he was twenty years old to Chicago, Illinois. Rudy was a member of The Grand Lodge of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of Illinois. He was a God-fearing man, generous, and kind. He was the simplest of men. Rudy most enjoyed the things in life you cannot buy. It’s difficult to summarize such an extraordinary man with ordinary words.
Amidst the pain and suffering of this world, Rudy’s belief in God’s goodness never wavered. He exhibited undeniable faith in God’s plan and never shied away from reminding his family of his faith. Rudy lived and breathed for his loved ones and it was clear in everything he did. He will be remembered as a selfless and loving man with unwavering faith.
"I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:2.
Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife, Lucita "Lucy" Tebia; son, Adrian Tebia and his wife, Christy Tebia; daughter, Jacelyn Tebia; sisters, Tessie Tebia and Helen Tebia; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
