Robert Donald Weise

Robert "Bob" Donald Weise, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on July 10, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on July 21, 1929, in New York, New York to his loving parents Robert and Mary.  Robert grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida with his sister, Barbara.

During his remarkable life, Robert proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years. One of his
assignments was as a Radio Man aboard a ship during the intense Cuban Missile Crisis.  His bravery and
commitment to serving our nation never waivered.

After retiring from the Great Lakes Naval Base Radio Naval School as an instructor, he embarked on a
new journey working for Western Electric/Southwestern Bell/AT&T. Eventually, he retired a third time from General Dynamics where he made valuable contributions to F-16 Technical Publications.

However, Robert was more than just a successful professional .  He had varied interests. 

Chief among them was a love for travel and trying new foods. Together with his wife Chi Mei, he explored 40 countries around the world. Their adventures created countless cherished memories that will be forever treasured.

Robert, a devoted family man, leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 62 years, Chi Mei Weise; three sons: Rob Weise and wife Cathy, Donald Weise, and Richard Weise. Providing for his family meant everything to Robert.

A visitation service to honor Robert's life will be held on July 17, 2023, at Winscott Road Funeral Home &
Cremation Services in Benbrook, Texas. The visitation will begin at 5:00 PM and conclude at 7:00 PM.
We invite all family members, friends, colleagues, and acquaintances to pay their final respects and
share in the memories of a remarkable man.
