Robert H. Baker, 85, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 in Fort Worth.
Funeral:
11:00 a.m., Friday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook. Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m., Friday.
Burial:
11:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas.
Robert was born Jan. 24, 1931 in Ilion, N.Y. to John and Helen Baker. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1948 to 1952 in the Korean Conflict.
Robert was preceded in death by daughter, Debbie Masters; grandson, Eric Stone; sister, Shirl McGinn; and nephews, Michael and Jimmy McGinn.
Survivors:
Loving wife of 66 years, Jean Baker; children, Linda Crawford and husband, Dirk of Malone, Robert "Bob" Baker and wife, Becky of Granbury, Wendy Stone of Weatherford, Sherri Baxter and husband, Shorty of Fort Worth, Dawson Masters of Malone, Brenda Elam and husband, Terry of Fort Worth, Ray Baker and wife, Teddi of Mansfield, and Mary Ormsbee and husband, Trey of Fort Worth; 27 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many other loving family members and friends.
