Prentice Earl Roberts

Prentice ( Catfish ) Roberts, 85 passed away on March ,20 2025 peaceflluy at home.

He was born on November, 12 1939 to Jack and Ollie Roberts in Lufkin, Texas. He grew up in Zavalla Texas and grduated from Zavalla High School.

He served in the Army from 1959 to 1962. He worked for the D.O.D in the civil service department as an artillery specialist from1962 until he retired in 1999. He was a 32 second degree Scottish Rite mason for over 50 years.

He was preceded in deathby his parents, brother Jack Roberts Jr, grandsons Brandon Roberts and Bradly Richards.

He is survived by his brother Ernest Roberts, son Jimmy Roberts (Nancy) , daughter Sheila ( Gene) , Grandsons Joseph Roberts, Michael Roberts, great granddaughters Lilly Roberts , and Maddison Roberts. Numerous nieces,nephews, cousins, step grandkids and great grankids and many other family members.

His services will at the DFW National cemetery in Dallas Texas on June,06 2025 at 10 am.
