Paula Clendening

Paula Floyd Clendening, age 63, of Fort Worth, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Friday, June 17, 2016 in Newark.
In honor of her wishes, there will be no services, however close family and friends are planning a celebration of life. Feel free to reach out to any survivors listed below for information.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, Paula asked that memorial donations be made to SPCA of North Texas, a group she strongly supported her entire life here.
Paula was born in Phoenix, Ariz. on January 11th, 1953, but her true home was in Texas, where her family moved to Saginaw in 1962 when she was just a little girl. She went to school in Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD and graduated in 1971 from Boswell High School. She touched the lives of many through her career paths, including time at Tandy Leather, Overhead Door Co. of Fort Worth and RGIS. She passed away after a short battle with cancer. Her only regret in life was picking up a cigarette, because of the amount of time it stole from her happiness.
Paula loved working in the yard and gardening, as well as playing with her cats and dogs. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren who called her Big Mom.
Her love of coffee, chocolate and many other foods always included sayings like "darn that's good" or "that's nasty you won't like it" as she was cramming it down her throat. Sometimes she would grace you with her happy food dance that consisted of many arm swirls and humming in excitement.
Paula was a devoted grandmother, mother, sister, daughter, pet owner and friend.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Gaye Floyd.
Survivors include her grandkids and sole purpose of life, Declan Clendening and Marek Clendening; her brother, Randall Floyd and his children; Kelsie Floyd and Lucas Floyd; her closest friend Diane Symons; her son, Corey Clendening his fiancée, Dominika Wisniewski; and many others who considered her a 2nd mom and grandmother and hundreds of coworkers she was blessed to work with through the years.
