Patricia "BB" Ann Tonips

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Ann "BB" Tonips, 68, who departed this world unexpectedly on March 20, 2024. She was born October 11, 1955 to Melvin Wade Tonips and Almeta Jane Gray Tonips, in Arkansas City, Kansas.

Patricia was an LVN, dedicating many years of her life to caring for others with compassion and skill. Known for her generosity, kindness, and cheerful spirit, Patricia always had something witty and funny to say to those around her. She had a heart of gold and would go above and beyond to help anyone in need. Patricia had great musical taste and a deep affection for animals -- especially for dogs.

Though she may be gone from this earthly plane, Patricia's spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her beautiful soul. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and light she brought to the world.

Patricia is survived by Almeta Tonips, Nina Taylor, Melody, Steve, and Garrett Fischer; Tommye, Eric, Rachel, Kelsi, Karli, Gavin, Kenli, Khloi, Kalli, and Keeli Tonips; and close friends, Carol Bennett, Sherry Tolson, and Dr. Gregory Phillips.

Patricia is preceded in death by Melvin, Gordon, and Amee' Tonips.
