Patricia Cumings

Patricia "Pat" Ann Cumings, 83, of Azle, peacefully went home to the Lord on Thursday, July 30, 2020 in Dallas.

Funeral: 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Winscott Road Memorial Chapel, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. Visitation: 11 to 12:00 p.m., prior to the funeral service. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76134.

Pat was born November 20, 1936 in Guntersville, Alabama to K.L. Rogers and Kate Smith Rogers. She married Damon Cumings on December 22, 1953 and became a career Air Force wife, serving alongside her husband raising four children. They retired to Granbury, Texas. She was a devoted member of Oak Trail Baptist Church, Granbury.

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Damon Cumings in 2012, and her only brother, Neal Rogers and his wife, Barbara Helen Rogers.

Survivors: Daughter, Melinda Renner and husband, Glen of Omaha, Neb.; sons, Michael Cumings and wife, Missy of Shelton, Conn., David Cumings and wife, Rhonda of Azle, and Andrew Cumings and wife, Kim of Copper Canyon; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and devoted friend that Pat considered family, Pat Temple.
