Nellie Lockaby

Nellie "Nell" Ruth Lockaby, 79, loving mother and grandmother, passed away June 22, 2016.
Services will be held at a later date at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Nell was born Dec. 9, 1936 in Athens, Alabama to Elmer William Davis and Florence Brown Davis. She served in the U. S. Women's Army Corps from October 1960 to June 1962. Nell married Leslie Darvin Lockaby Feb. 10, 1962 in Ft. Huachuca, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Florence Davis, husband, Leslie Lockaby, and brothers, James Davis and Wayne Davis.
Survivors: Son, Michael Lockaby and wife, Michelle of North Richland Hills, Texas; and son, Christopher Lockaby and wife, Kim of Oklahoma City, Okla.; grandchildren, Erin, Michael and Garrett Lockaby; and siblings, Elmer Davis Jr. and Betty Louise Welch.
