Michael Taylor

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael R. Taylor of Benbrook on Oct. 23, 2017 at the age of 62.
Funeral service: 10:45 a.m., Tuesday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook 76126. Visitation: 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., Tuesday prior to the funeral. Burial: 1:00 p.m. in DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas.

Michael was the eldest son of Roy Taylor and Dolores Wren Taylor. Michael was born May 12, 1955 in Denton. He attended Richland Senior High and then entered the Marine Corps, becoming an air traffic controller. After leaving the Marines, Mike worked in the HVAC/construction field.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Roy O. Taylor; sister, Barbara Duncan; and aunt, Joyce Newland.
Survivors: Mother, Dolores DeLeon; sister, Patti Crockett; brother, Randy Taylor and his wife, Sara; stepmother, Penney Taylor; aunt, Barbara Ferrand; uncles, Bill Wren and Don Newland; two nieces, Briana Taylor and Carleigh Crockett; four nephews, Cheyne Smith, Cameron Taylor, Colin Taylor and his wife, Lauren, and Liam Taylor; six cousins; and many other loving relatives.
