Margaret Vivian Robertson

Margaret V. Robertson, 79, best known as “Mama” or “Nanny”, passed away the evening of May 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Margaret was born June 24, 1944, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and a devoted Christian. She never met an enemy and never turned away a weary heart. She had the ability to make you see the best in yourself and everyone around you.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, William Averitt, and Hazel Averitt; brothers, Mac Averitt, and David Averitt; sister, Joveda Savage; and her husband, Charles “Ernie” Robertson Jr.

Survivors: Daughters, Karyn Turner, Stephanie Phillips, and Charla McDugle; sons, Ted Williams, and Joey Hankins; 11 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
