Lora Kay Benton passed away February 8, 2020 at a local Fort Worth hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15th at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., prior to the service.

Kay was born in Pecos, Texas to Bob D. Henderson and Ann Swetnam Henderson, the youngest of five children. She graduated from Everman High School and attended UTA as a political science major. Kay then began a career in the medical industry as a business office clerk and manager for the next thirty years.
Kay was preceded in death by her father, and her Aunt, Jessie Womack.
Survivors: Loving husband of 38 years, David Benton; son, Michael Benton; daughter and son-in-law, Charo and Michael Dunlap; granddaughters, Ashley and Britney Dunlap, and Madison Benton; sisters-in-law, Mary Sue Nicholas and Carol Reyes; brother-in-law, Doug Benton and wife, Sue; her mother, Ann Henderson; four siblings and their families: Bob and Linda Henderson and their children, Rebecca and Stephen Smotherman, Suzie Goodell and Jason Goodell; Jim and Sherry Henderson and their children, Christy Henderson, and Michelle and Michael Buckley; Pat and Randy Hatcher; Kathi and Don Stephan and their children, Travis Stephan, and James and Melinda Stephan. Kay was also survived by an extended family and many loving and lifelong friends.
