Linda "Lyn" Roberts

Linda “Lyn” June Roberts, 80, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022 in White Settlement, Texas.

Funeral Service:  10:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2022 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126.  Burial:  Greenwood Memorial Park, Fort Worth, following the funeral service.  Visitation: 6-8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 21st at Winscott Road Funeral Home.

Lyn was born April 16, 1942 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Roy Elmo Atwell and Billie June Carpenter Atwell.  She has lived in the Fort Worth area for over 50 years.  Lyn was a proud charter member of West Freeway Church of Christ and served in the church benevolence center for many years.  She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and took great pride in her family.

Lyn was an avid gardener with a green thumb, and she enjoyed creating and caring for garden spaces with many plants and flowers. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping and decorating for events and holidays in her retirement years.

Lyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Ronny O. Roberts; and twin sisters, Peggy Chears and Patricia Winans.

Survivors include daughter, Jennifer Carlisle of Northlake; son, Charles Roberts and wife, Bianca of Arlington; granddaughter, Ronnica Carlisle and fiancé Troy Weatherhead of Mineral Wells; granddaughter, Bella Roberts of Arlington; grandson, Christian Roberts of Arlington; great-granddaughter, Carlisle Steedman of Mineral Wells; and great-grandson, Ryker Curtis of Mineral Wells.
