Linda Rowland

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher and friend, Linda Poling Rowland entered His Kingdom on January 28, 2016.
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Monday at Christ Chapel Bible Church, 3701 Birchman Ave., Fort Worth. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook.
Linda was born in Amarillo, Texas and graduated from Sanford Fritch High School as Miss SFHS. She went on to earn a bachelors degree at Oklahoma Panhandle State University, and a masters degree from West Texas A&M. Her professional life was devoted to education, inspiring many students, teachers, and administrators. She taught school for 19 years in Spearman, was a school administrator in Perryton and Olton, and she retired as an educational consultant at ESC Region 11 in Fort Worth. She loved education. She loved her family and valued her relationship with God even more.
She married the love of her life, Jeff Rowland in 1986. She lived a life of faith, sharing Christ's love through studying the Bible, teaching children, teens, and intellectually disabled adults about God, singing in the church choir, and walking with God along the journeys of life, both celebrations and challenges. She was a beloved mom and grandmother, teaching and modeling Christ's love and grace to all those around her. Above all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who she joined in final victory after a courageous battle with lymphoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walton and LaNelle Poling of Fritch.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Rowland; daughters, Monica and Bryon Pfaff, and Molly and Marc Morris; grandchildren, Carly and Conrad Morris, and Shelby and Haley Pfaff; a brother, Stan Poling and wife Bobbie and a sister, Wendy Anderson and husband Gary;and many nieces, nephews,cousins and numerous other loving family and friends.
Linda loved flowers, but consider honoring her by donating to Christ Chapel Children's Ministry.
