Leslie was born November 21, 1966, to Edward and Brenda (Hawkins) Rains in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Lloyd V. Berkner High School in 1984, and graduated from the NETCC police academy in 1993.
Leslie was a woman with a lot of skill and ambition, especially embracing art. She was very skilled at oil painting on canvas, sketching, sewing, and pottery.
In 2008, Leslie started her own cake business that was very successful. In 2017, she began a new business in which she made custom signs, wreaths, and other boutique type items which expressed her passion for art so well. Leslie also loved nature. She brought to life many amazing gardens in her lifetime, growing many different varieties of plants and never losing a beat with the upkeep of them. She was a truly talented person.
Leslie was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda.
Survivors: Her father, Edward; brothers, Jason and Tony; her boyfriend, Walker; her four children: son, Aaron; daughters, Brittany and Brandi; son, Mack; and her grandchildren, Tristan, Elijah, Bailey, Remington, Paisley, and Maddox.
