Larry Morris

Larry "Pops" Morris, 74, of Benbrook, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017.
Memorial service: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. Casual golf attire is requested.

Larry was born April 13, 1943 in Clovis, New Mexico. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy from 1960-1964. Larry married Linda Bailey on October 1, 1971 in Zion, Illinois. After retiring from Lockheed Martin, Larry could be found most often tinkering in the garage, hanging with the Tin Can Sailors, with friends at Thirstday, or at his happy place, the golf course.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, O.H. Morris and Oleta Daniels.
Survivors: Wife, Linda Morris; son, Michael Morris and wife, Jodi of Hurst; daughter, Robin Blackmon and husband, Brett of Hobbs, N.M.; two brothers, Gary Morris and wife, Kathy of Fort Worth, and A.B. Morris and wife, Jo of Lubbock; grandchildren, Jacob, Avery, Ryan, Haley, Caleb, and Molly; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
