After his military service, Larry settled in Mesquite, Texas for several years. He worked for ATT telephone and eventually retired.
Larry is survived by his mother, Shirley Mitchell, his brother, Darrell (Danny) Mitchell, his sister-in-law Eunice Mitchell, their son Mark Mitchell, and Mark’s children Aubree and Madison, Danny and Eunice’s daughter, Sarah Williams, her husband Taylor Williams, and their children, Felix, Violet, and Claire. Larry loved hunting and fishing. He also loved to laugh and telling corny jokes. His greatest love was his Lord Jesus Christ whom he accepted as his personal savior by the time he was eight years old. We can visualize him in heaven right now at a Dolly Parton concert!
