Kenneth Rouse

December 24, 1932 — September 22, 2016

Kenneth Audrey Rouse of Aledo, passed away Sept. 22, 2016 after a courageous battle.
Funeral: 3 p.m., Monday at Aledo United Methodist Church, 100 Pecan Drive, Aledo 76008. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook 76126. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park, Fort Worth.
Ken was born in Atwell to Owen and Kathleen Rouse. The family moved to Baird when he was 5. He lived there until 14 when they moved to Fort Worth. He graduated from Paschal High School and attended TCU.
Ken served in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Lejuene. He was married to Wanda Hardin for 35 years and they had three children, Belinda, Carol and Steve. Ken worked at Graybar Electric for six years and then at Equifax as an investigator for 30 years.
After Wanda passed away Ken married Lucy Hicks who also had three children, Larry, Lori and Lee. They will be married 30 years in February, on Valentines Day.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law, Wyndell and Betty Rouse, and daughter, Belinda Rouse Sapp.
Survivors: Wife, companion, soul-mate, caretaker, and the love of his life, Lucy; children, Carol Rouse Michaels; Steve Rouse and wife, Laura; Larry Smith and wife, Heatherly; Lori Donnell and husband, Jeff; and Lee Smith and wife, Belinda; sister, Bonnie Burch; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren to be born in January and February 2017; and numerous other family members.
