Joyce Lee Stroud

Joyce Lee Stroud, a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away on October 11, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on November 26, 1933, in Lindale, Texas, Joyce was the daughter of Lillie Mae Munn and Willie Claude Graham.

Joyce's greatest joy was her family. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and generations of family who brought so much happiness to her life. She was a kind and compassionate woman whose love and devotion were felt by those closest to her. Her family was at the heart of everything she did, and the memories she created with them will be treasured for years to come.

Joyce also had a special love for flowers and took great pride in keeping her yard beautiful. She found happiness in tending to her flowers and creating a welcoming space filled with beauty and care, much like the warmth she brought into the lives of others. Her gentle spirit, caring heart, and thoughtful nature left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Joyce will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the family she cherished, and the kindness she shared throughout her life. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and in the many lives she touched. Her legacy of love will continue through the generations of family who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Albert Stroud Jr.; her son, James L. Stroud; and her grandson, Darrin Stroud.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Gloria Stroud Caddell; her grandchildren, Donavan Stroud, James A. Stroud, Tony Gilliland and his wife, Kim Valencia Gilliland, and Clint Baldwin; her great-grandchildren, Trevor Stroud, Maegan Stroud, Anthony Stroud, Cameron McMichael, and Adam McMichael; and her great-great-grandchildren, Robbie Jones, Axel Jones, Xander Jones, Rhyder McMichael, and Tate McMichael.
