Joyce Arteese

Joyce Ellis Arteese, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
Celebration of Life: 2:30 p.m., Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Harberger Hill Community Building, 701 Narrow Street, Weatherford.

Joyce was born in Teague on Dec. 8, 1944. She was raised in the Lena Pope Home in Fort Worth and attended Fort Worth Technical High School. Joyce was a successful Administrative Assistant in the field of Engineering and Construction and she loved to garden.
Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Griffin and her brother, Clayton Ellis.
Survivors: Daughter, Anita Arteese of Mineral Wells; son, Anthony Arteese of Arlington; grandchildren, Josh Wilson, Travis Oliver, Dameon Arteese, Zayden Arteese and Zena Arteese; great-grandsons, Oliver Wilson and Relic Wilson; sister, Marie Skinner of Weatherford; brother, Joe Ellis of Mineral Wells; and numerous nieces and nephews.
