John “Johnny” Duncan, 54, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation: 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 12, 2021 for family and friends. Following will be a private memorial service for family at 11:00 a.m. Both will be held at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Johnny was born November 5, 1966 in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended Western Hills High School where he made life-long friends. Johnny was known for his kind heart and outgoing personality and hardly went anywhere without seeing someone he knew. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and spending time with his family. He loved being at the family’s land in Brock, Texas. Johnny was a proud father who cherished the time he spent with Caitlin. He spent many years taking her hunting and to NASCAR races at Texas Motor Speedway.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon “Rusty” Duncan, Jr. and Patricia Clayton.
Survivors: Johnny is survived by his daughter, Caitlin Duncan of Fort Worth; father, Charles Clayton of Benbrook; sisters, Dee Ann Gibbs and husband, Greg of Newcastle, Missy Bransom of Benbrook and Courtney Wolfe and husband, Nick of Weatherford; brother, Charles Clayton of Whitney; uncle, Jimmy Duncan and wife, Lanea of Fort Worth; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
