John Leydon

BENBROOK -- Jack Leydon, 72, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, in Dallas.
Memorial service: 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, in the chapel of Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook. Interment: Private.
John Joseph Leydon was born March 18, 1943, in Everett, Mass. He graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 1964 and joined the Merchant Marine. Jack later worked for GD Shipbuilding and Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth with over 45 years of service.
He loved spending time with people and always made his friends feel welcome. Jack enjoyed telling stories, cooking, traveling, and being by the ocean.
