Joann Markum

Joann Markum, 92, of Benbrook, Texas, passsed away, June 21, 2019 in Fort Worth.

Memorial service: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook Texas 76126.

Joann Markum was born October 11, 1926 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Jessie June Stanley and Ruby Bates Stanley. Joann was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Benbrook. Joann will be greatly missed by all.

Joann was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse Markum; her parents; her mother and father-in-law, Jessie and Nora Markum; siblings, Eunice Stanley Huckabay, Helen Stanley Tidwell, Billy Stanley, and Gene Stanley.

Survivors: Joann is survived by her son and daughter in law, Trey and Mindy Markum of Paradise, Texas; grandchildren, Chase Markum and his wife, Ashley Markum of Paradise, Holt Markum of Emory and Paradise, Tiffany Markum Durrett and husband, Jeremy Durrett of Paradise; great-grandchildren Zell, Emori, and Malia Markum all of Paradise; and brother, Charles Stanley of Rockwall, Texas.
