In the spring of 1965, Jim married the love of his life, his Annie, and was faithful to her for 56 years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1968 with ComServPac in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Jim was awarded a Navy Commendation Medal for his design of sophisticated computer systems that were critical to the war in SE Asia.
He was a successful businessman in the insurance industry for 48 years and was known for his integrity and impeccable service to his clients.
Jim had two daughters, Andrea and Jennifer. Out of all his accomplishments he was most proud of his family. They were always his top priority. Strong in his faith until his last breath, Jim was a great source of encouragement and strength to so many. He faithfully served the body of Christ in his local church community and was always looking for ways to serve others.
He loved his family, hunting and fishing with his grandkids, donuts, and a good burger! Most of all, he loved Jesus and his family takes great comfort knowing he is with his Heavenly Father!
