James Adams Jr.

James Virgil Adams Jr., 93, of Benbrook, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017.
Private services will be held later.
Memorials: The family would appreciate donations to Cook Children's Hospital.
James was born Jan. 7, 1924 in Childress. He was one of the founding members of Ridglea County Club and was an avid golfer. James owned Adams Beauty Salon at Ridglea for 35 years.
James was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Nell Adams.
Survivors: Daughter, Glenda C. Brewton; son, James Mitchell Adams; grandson, Lance Brewton; and great-granddaughter, Ashley Owens.
