STEPHENVILLE -- Dino Williams, 47, passed from this life to his heavenly abode on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, surrounded by family at his home in Stephenville.
Funeral: Dino's life will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Willow Park Baptist Church, 129 S. Ranch House Road, Aledo, officiated by Dr. Clark Bosher. Interment: Private. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, the Williams family suggests contributions in Dino's memory be made to his alma mater, Arlington Baptist College, 3001 West Division St., Arlington, Texas 76012 or Mission Hospice, 505 N. Ridgeway Drive, Suite 173, Cleburne, Texas 76033.
Jackie Dean "Dino" Williams Jr. was born Sept. 17, 1968 in, Fort Worth, son of Jackie Dean and Bonnie Marshall Williams. Dino married the former Keri Slaten on August 3, 1991 and together they reared two sons, Zachary, a student at Texas A&M, and Michael, a senior at Stephenville High School.
Dino graduated with the class of 1987 from Haltom High School and made his career with Greenleaf Wholesale Florist for 22 dedicated years of service. In his spare time, Dino liked to read and write and loved hot rods and street rods, a passion he inherited from his father. Dino was also passionate about football and attending football games with his sons. In addition to these pastimes, Dino had a ministry he started in 2012 called Last 24 Ministries. The motto was, "Live your life like it's your LAST 24!!"
He was a member of Willow Park Baptist Church and just recently completed his degree at Arlington Baptist College.
The Williams family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Mission Hospice and Kayla Gill and Amber Anderson, who showed Dino genuine love and the best care he received since August 2012.
Dino was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.B. and Geraldine Williams; and maternal grandparents, John and Mattie Marshall.
Survivors: Wife, Keri Williams of Stephenville; sons, Zachary Williams and Michael Williams both of Stephenville; parents, Jack and Bonnie Williams of Poolville; sister, Tammy Milhorn and her husband, Danny, of Weatherford; nephew, Chris Addison and his wife, Danielle, of Weatherford; nieces, Brandi Addison of Weatherford and Amber Lee and husband, Ryan, of Grenada; great-nieces, Kylie, Alexa, and Hayleigh Addison; mother-in-law, Carole Slaten of Weatherford; and a host of loving family, friends, and church family.
