Jack Barnett

Jack Barnett, 83, passed away Feb. 24, 2017 in Fort Worth.

Memorial service: 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Jack was born Feb. 4, 1934 in Fort Worth to William Dixon and Virginia Agnes Barnett.

He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard and Lockheed. Jack loved golf, flying, and his dog "Gracie". He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dick Barnett.

Survivors: Wife, Virginia Barnett; children, Dennis and Janet Barnett, Gaye and Terry Melton, and Paul Barnett; stepchildren, Angie and Todd Conley, Amy Pate, Jodi and Todd Rudel; grandchildren, Lindsey and Tanner Barnett Aaron and Addison Conley, Lexy and Hunter Rudel; and sister, Elizabeth Bains.
